What the Future Holds & Personal Note

Blocs Master
Blocs Master
In my first email of 2022, I want to share what has happened to me in recent months, and what I plan to do going forward.

First of all, I hope you have successfully started the new year. I sincerely wish you and your family to stay healthy and happy in 2022.
Testing New Newsletter Platform
You are receiving this email because you either subscribed to my newsletter or purchased one of my products. If you don’t want to receive these anymore, please unsubscribe.
It’s the beginning of the year, so I thought it is a good time to test a new email marketing platform. I am using Revue for this email, but I am also considering Substack. If you have any experience with these platforms, I would be happy to hear about it.
On a Personal Note...
Before moving to product updates for Blocs Templates and Blocs Master, I want to share some personal information about me.
I didn’t have a day off for the past 4 years. I work on all of my weekends, and even when I say ‘I have a day off’, I usually spend it looking at my inbox, stressing about something. I have completely destroyed my mental health, and it has seriously affected my physical health too.
Although I still don’t know exactly what it will be, I know that I need a big change in my life. I have never thought I would say that about myself, but I think I have burnt out. In a matter of fact, I think I have been burning out for the past couple of years. According to this article, I am at stage #5.
My plans for the end of 2021 and beginning of 2022 were smashed with COVID (still sick). Can't wait to get back to normal, so I can finish a new template for @BlocsTemplates, and start posting weekly videos to my YouTube channel.
In addition to being in the worst physical and mental condition of my life, I also got COVID at the end of December. With my weakened immune system, it took me a few weeks to recover, and I still have terrible side effects, but I believe the worst is over.
Anyway, let’s talk about business…
Blocs Templates
Since the release of the Blocs 4 Templates, I have been adding a new premium template to the collection every month. I am very proud of the templates I have created, all without adding any 3rd party add-ons or additional code.
I will continue to make more templates in 2022, and the next template, Provider, is almost ready for release. I wanted to release it in December, but due to COVID, I am only finishing it now. I will release it next week.

Also, I noticed that people liked the Investor template a lot, so I have decided to make more templates like that. If you have any suggestions about the new templates, please share.
Custom Blocs
When I launched the Blocs Brics project last year, I planned to release a new custom blocs package every month. I have changed my mind. I will just release all of the scheduled custom blocs packs in the coming weeks.
It takes a long time to export custom blocs, package them properly, create screenshots for every bloc, edit everything, and publish, but I promise to spend a few weeks in February doing only that.

If you are a Blocs 4 Templates user, you can download it for free, otherwise, it’s a one time payment.
Blocs Master
In 2021, I added new videos to the Blocs 4 Website Course, and I released the Blocs Blogging Course, a detailed video course covering everything you need to know to build a beautiful blogging website with Blocs and Volt CMS.
Before that, I have launched the Blocs Commerce Course, a detailed video course covering multiple ways to create a fully functional commerce website with Blocs.
I couldn’t publish as many free tutorials as I wanted on my Blocs Master YouTube channel, but hopefully, that’s going to change this year. I have so many ideas, so many tutorials I want to make. If time and health allow me, I will create much more free content this year.
Live Design Sessions
One of the positives of 2021 was the great experience I had offering a new service, live website design sessions. In summary, I make a simple website for a client, while showing and explaining everything I do via live screen-sharing.
The goal of this service is to make sure that the client can provide the instant feedback, and learn how to manage a website or build their next one on his/her own.
This type of web design service is not for every client, but it is perfect for me, because I enjoy teaching, and communicating with my clients directly.
Do I still like Blocs?
It might come as a surprise to you, but I always look for a better alternative to the Blocs app. I’m very open-minded with website builders, and in 2021, I tried WordPress, Webflow, and the recent versions of RapidWeaver and Sparkle.
After testing all of these, I still prefer Blocs 4. The main reason why I love the Blocs app is the perfect balance between the ease of use and functionality I can get from a website builder.
I have posted a video on my personal YouTube channel sharing the essential 3rd party apps I always install on my Macs, and Blocs is definitely on that list in 2022.
